Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026. CalcMate is designed to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what we do and don't collect.
1. Calculator inputs stay on your device
Every calculator on CalcMate runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type are never sent to our servers, stored, or shared. When you close the page, they're gone.
2. Information we may collect
- Contact messages: if you email us, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply. We don't sell or share it.
- Basic analytics: we may use privacy-respecting analytics to see aggregate page views (no personal profiles).
- Server logs: our hosting provider may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging.
3. Cookies
CalcMate itself does not require cookies for calculators to work. Third-party services described below may set their own cookies; you can control cookies through your browser settings.
4. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads that keep CalcMate free. Google may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and Partner Sites policy.
5. Children's privacy
CalcMate is a general-audience site not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold — which, given how little we collect, is typically just contact correspondence. Email us (see Contact page) to exercise these rights.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
